Inkspired Blog Hop 66

Good evening and welcome to the latest Inkspired Blog Hop. You may have come from Renee or you may be starting here. Don't forget to go around and check out all the marvellous cards.

This is the latest sketch:

And here is my card:

There is a story behind my card this week. The story starts a month ago when someone ran up the back of my car. This then pushed me into the car in front of me. Well my car was booked in to be repaired on the 23rd of October.

On Wednesday this week I HAD to be at work at 7:45. We were taking 80 kids into the city and then spending the night at Taronga Zoo. Well my car decided to overheat on Wednesday morning and had to be towed. The people from the dealership say that the car overheated due to damage from the accident. I was frantically calling my work colleagues and family trying to get to work. I was hoping to be there by the time they started walking to the station (approximately 8:30).

I arrived at work at 9:30. I had to drop off my luggage, walk to the station and meet up with my group in Sydney. I caught the train fine and even got off at the right station, but I then managed to get lost on the way to the museum. Luckily a phone call to Dad helped me to find the way.

I finally met up with my group at about 10:45. We then spent the rest of the day walking around the Botanical Gardens in the rain and spent the night at the zoo. We loved the overnight excursion however, we didn't enjoy the rain all night long or the seals barking all night!

This card is for the teacher I shared a tent with. Her humour and ability to navigate Taronga Zoo are amazing.

The card is created with the Painted Harvest and Label Me Pretty. I have used Berry Burst, Rich Razzleberry and Bermuda Bay. The ribbon is Bermuda Bay Stitched and the scallops are from the Seasonal Layers Thinlits.

Next on the hop is Barbara who I had the pleasure of seeing yesterday. I am really looking forward to seeing what she has created.

Until next time!

Allison
