Good evening and welcome to the Inkspired Blog Hop. You may have come from the lovely Renee who has been sick. I hope she (and her family) are feeling better soon.
Teneale provides a sketch each fortnight and this is the latest one.
I needed to make a birthday card for my uncle last week so here is what he received:
I decided to create a masculine card this fortnight as I don't make many. My uncle's favourite colour is red so the card is mostly Cherry Cobbler. With the Soft Suede ink, Wood Textures DSP and Very Vanilla Cardstock I though this card gave an autumnal theme. I used the Sheltering Tree and Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp sets and the Linen Thread to complete the card. The border punches I had didn't really suit the card so I created a border by fussy cutting some logs.
Next on the hop is Maree. I can't wait to see what she has created.!
Until next time.
Allison
OMG! SO CLEVER. Sorry for the shouting in capital letters but I was excited. Yesterday I was talking with Fiona about that paper and we both were not sure how we would use the tree log paper and now you posted this with such a clever idea, using it as a scallop. GREAT card.
ReplyDeleteThanks Teneale! Don't worry I like happy shouting! Glad to be of some inspirations!
DeleteLove your card Allison and same as Teneale love how you have used the logs.xx
